A calm, light-filled environment for dogs and their owners

Paw House Sathorn is a dog daycare and hotel designed to accommodate play, rest, grooming, and social interaction in a calm, well-structured environment. The project includes two outdoor gardens, multiple playrooms, a dog pool, grooming facilities, and a coffee shop with outdoor seating, creating a welcoming destination for both dogs and their owners.

Designed by regroup architecture for PawHouse, the project is a building extension located behind an existing house. The original house now hosts the reception lobby, coffee shop, grooming area, and administrative offices on the upper floor. Portions of the former parking roofs surrounding the house were thoughtfully reused and integrated as covered areas for the gardens and pool.

The new building is defined by two offset roof volumes, creating generous interior heights for four large playrooms. For acoustic comfort and rest, the design includes multiple enclosed sleeping rooms accommodating approximately 80 dogs. The staggered roof heights allow natural daylight to penetrate deep into the center of the building, enhancing interior comfort and reducing reliance on artificial lighting.

Two spacious outdoor areas flank the building:
– A partially covered garden with concrete walkways and gently shaped grassy mounds for exploration and play
– A grass training garden, paired with an outdoor hangout and coffee shop area, encouraging interaction between visitors, staff, and dogs

The result is a carefully balanced environment that combines functionality, comfort, and playfulness—supporting the wellbeing of dogs while offering an inviting experience for their owners.
