สำนักงานที่ไม่ได้ใช้งานได้รับชีวิตใหม่เป็นอพาร์ทเมนต์อุตสาหกรรมสไตล์ลอฟท์ ก่อนหน้านี้สำนักงานนี้มีความสูงฟลอมอยู่ที่ 3 เมตร และมีห้องน้ำในตัว และแบ่งเป็นห้องๆ อย่างไรก็ตาม ห้องมุมของชั้นนี้ ระหว่างที่จอดรถและชั้นอพาร์ทเมนต์ของอาคารคอนโดที่เก่ากว่าในห้วยขวางกรุงเทพ ซึ่งเป็นเหมือนอัญมนีที่ซ่อนอยู่จริงๆ
regroup architecture ได้ปรับแต่งพื้นที่นี้หลังจากที่เอาของออกจากสำนักงานจนเหลือแค่ตัวห้อง ไอเดียออกแบบพื้นฐษนก็คือจะใช้ตัวหลักที่มีห้องครัวและหองน้ำเป็นตัวแบ่งพื้นที่เป็นหลายๆโซน มีโซนส่วนตัวด้านหลังสำหรับเตียง และโซนนั่งเล่นที่มีทีวีและโซฟา และมีพื้นที่ระหว่างสำหรับโต๊ะสูงระดับบาร์ การใช้การแบ่งโซนพื้นฐานนี้ยังเหมาะกับห้องงานศิลป์ สตูดิโอโยคะ พื้นที่แสดงงาน หรือแม้กระทั่งให้เป็นสำนักงานเล็กๆอีกครั้งก็ได้
หลังจากที่เอาเพดาน ที บาร์ จากสำนักงานเก่าออกแล้ว เราเห็นว่าเรายังมีพื้นที่เพดานสูงได้อีกเมตรหนึ่ง และเพดานคอนกรีตเก่าที่สวยอยู่อีกด้วย พื้นที่ตอนนี้สูง 4.3 ม. และเพดานคอนกรีตเก่าก็ตัดกับไม้ที่อยู่ในห้องครัว ตู้เสื้อผ้า และห้องน้ำผ่านประตูลับได้ดดีมาก พื้นเซริกสีเข้มยังช่วยให้พื้นที่ยังเป็นเหมือนภาพศิลป์และเฟอร์นิเจอร์อีกด้วย

เพดานที่สูงนี้ให้พื้นที่ดูกว่าง และดูเป็นลอฟท์มากๆ กำหนดหลังของห้องนั่งเล่นมีแสงไฟกำแพงและถูกออกแบบมาให้มีภาพวาดตกแต่งด้วย โต๊ะสูงระดับบาร์อันยาวพร้อมกับหน้าต่างสามารถใช้เป็นโต๊ะทานข้าวไม่ก็โต๊ะทำงานได้ด้วย

ลูกบาศก์ไม้ที่อยู่ในห้องจะใส่สายไฟ อุปกร์ไฟฟ้า อินเตอร์เน็ตทั้งหมด มีตู้สองอัน ห้องน้ำ และประตูลับด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังมีที่เก็บของเพิ่มเติมเหนือตู้อีกด้วย
The building regulations didn’t allow for replacing the corridor office glass wall, but more privacy and security was required to use the space as an apartment. A new, inner steel door, frosted glass panels and full-height shelves with perforated metal back panels were added. The result is an ambivalent corridor wall, offering a combination of the necessary privacy, controlled transparency, and welcomed light.

ห้องน้ำนี้จะคงความสูงส่วนใหญ่ไว้เท่าความสูงห้อง และตัวฝักบัวเองก็สูง 3.5 ม. พร้อมกำแพงกระจกทั้งหมดระหว่างห้องอาบน้ำและห้องนอน ทำให้สามารถมีแสงกลางวันเข้ามาในห้องน้ำได้และมีการแยงของแสงสวยงามเข้ามา และยังมีเงาและลวดลายเบลอร์ตอนกลางคืนอีกด้วย ห้องน้ำส่วนใหญ่จะมีผิวแข็งแบบแก้วและกระเบื้อง ตัดกับอ่างล้างมือไม้และโคมไฟไม้
Bathroom
The bathroom keeps most of the available room height and the shower itself is 3.5m tall. A full-size glass-block wall between the shower and bedroom allows daylight to enter the bathroom in daytime and a playful interaction of light, shadow and blurred shapes at night. The bathroom mainly consists of hard surfaces like glass and ceramic tiles, contrasted with a wooden sink countertop and a wooden lamp.

An unused office got a second life as spacious industrial loft-style apartment. Previously, the 66sqm office had a standard three-meter-high fake ceiling, a small internal toilet and was divided into rooms. However, this corner location on a commercial floor, between car parking and apartment floors of an older condominium building in the Huay Khwang area of Bangkok, has become a hidden gem.
regroup architecture remodeled the space after reducing the old office to its bare shell. The basic design idea uses the central core provided by the kitchen and bathroom to separate the space into different zones. There is a more private zone behind the core for the bed, a living zone with a TV and sofa, and an in-between space for a multipurpose bar-height desk. This basic zoning could potentially also work for other functions like an artist atelier, yoga studio, exhibition space, or even for a small office once again.
After removing the old office T-bar ceiling, we discovered over one meter additional height and a beautiful original concrete ceiling. The space is now 4.3m tall and the raw concrete ceiling is contrasted with a wooden cube containing the kitchen, closets, and a bathroom through a hidden door. A simple dark ceramic tile on the floor helps to ground the space and gives a neural canvas for art and the furniture.
