A condominium in All Season Mansion tower Bangkok got a major refurbishment by regroup architecture.
The new 75 sqm layout contains a combined kitchen, dining and living room, one bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and an annex room for a whirlpool – bathtub, laundry machines, and a guest toilet. The apartment has a 4-meter high ceiling along the windows and a view overlooking Ruam Rudee Street in Bangkok’s Ploen Chit area.
Only a detached, angled wall separates the bedroom and living room. Sliding doors at either end allow the occupants to separate the two spaces and define the level of privacy.
At the center of the bedroom stands a sculptural freestanding king-size bed embraced by lamellas as its ceiling and backdrop. A long wall equipped with closet space begins at the apartment entrance as a shoe cabinet and extends into the bedroom and its adjoining master bathroom. The large rain shower is surrounded by white marble and glass walls that look into the bedroom.
In the living room, window ledges provide a sitting area that invites one to lounge and enjoy the view of the lively neighbourhood. The tall windows allow natural light into the living and kitchen area that’s significantly defined by a large island. Made of white marble, the island extends into an adjoining wooden dining table. Contrasting with the white marble is the Tabek wood parquet and black marble floor.
The annex room behind the kitchen was transformed from a housekeeper’s room to a wellness and service room. The whirlpool bathtub is covered by a wooden deck and can be used as a massage or day bed.
The contemporary materialization combines monochrome walls and built-ins with the Tabek wooden parquet and black and white Thai marble. Copper walls in the bathrooms accented against the white marble and the orange leather window ledges makes for a unique contrast to the silver blue curtains.
